Why the hike?
One of the finest trekking places in Karnataka, India which Offers mind blowing views. A spiritual and divine trek to the abode of Sri Siddarameshwara swamy.
A small temple dedicated to lord Sri Siddarameshwara is on the way to hill top. This will be a good resting point wherein floating water stream available throughout the year.
How to reach?
The nearest town is Karwar. There will be a limited public transport to the village ‘Shirve’. Other way is to reach Devalamakki village and walk 3.5KM to reach Shirve village. The trek starts from the Shirve village. The upward 3 KMs takes to the Siddarameshara temple. From here one can see the Shirve peak. From here all trekkers and visitors are advised to take off shoes/slippers and trek 4 KMs to reach the hill top. Its a sacred and divine place and its the custom to trek with bear foot.

Why Prakruthi Outdoors to hike Shirve?
The trail is remote. The nearest hospital and restaurants are 29 KMs away. No hotels or accommodation available in Shirve. This is dangerous to trek without guide. The hill is home to various wild animals including Russel’s vipers. Also there will be a limited or no support during the hike for any unforeseen or dangerous situation.
We arrange guided trek by taking utmost security of the visitors.

Day 1: Departure
Overnight drive from Bengaluru after dinner around 8PM IST

Day 2: Adventure Begins
Reach Karwar at 6AM IST. Transport to hotel for fresh up. Have breakfast and gear up for the hike.
8 :30AM - Transport to the base village 'Shirve' - 45 Minutes drive
10 AM - Start Trek
11:00 AM - Reach Lord Siddarameshwara Temple. Break for snacks and energy drinks.
12:30 PM - Reach peak. Witness the bull idol at the peak and admire the beauty
1:30 PM - Have packed lunch
2:30 PM - Start descend and reach the village around 4PM IST
5:30PM - Reach Karwar. Transport to hotel
6PM - 7PM - Explore Ravindranath Tagore beach
8PM - Have dinner
9PM - Departure to Bengaluru
