Shivalinga Betta – Karnataka
One of the unexplored serine hillocks in Karnataka. Known only to locals, this hike challenges the hikers yet offers everlasting experience. The view from the top of the hill is just awesome. The hikers can step on to the top of the below huge boulder.
The last stretch of the hike is memorable as the hiker needs to negotiate the narrow path surrounded by boulders before step on to the top.
This trek / hike is suitable for the ones who are experienced and open to challenges. This hike demands hikers to negotiate teh boulders and hike through the narrow gaps.
Itinerary – Weekend trek from Bengaluru – Day Trek:
- 6 AM – Start from Bengaluru to reach a tiny village. Have breakfast on the way
- 9 AM – Start trek from the base village to the hill top
- 11 AM – Reach the top of the hill. Enjoy the views and offer pooja to lord Anjaneya and Venkateshwara
- 12:30 PM – Have packed snacks.
- 2 PM – Start the descent
- 4 PM – Travel back to Bengaluru
- 6 PM – Reach Bengaluru
