Kabbinagadde waterfalls – Just love it..!
This is one of the pristine and less explored waterfalls and only known to locals.
Trek to this fall was in my bucket list for a long. Morning after freshening up and breakfast in Narayan’s house, we started our ride towards tiny village. The first 30 minutes is uphill in a muddy, uneven road. After an hour of drive, we reached Arun’s house who was waiting for us. Again, had another round of breakfast and tea. Parking bike at Arun’s house, three of us driven further in Arun’s car to the nearest village. Parked the vehicle there. Elvis joined us who was our guide. He is from the same vicinity and well known to Arun.
After 15 minutes trek we reached the local stream. It takes a deviation uphill to view the full view of the waterfall. We have taken this path. One must be careful to make way to look the gigantic waterfall plunging into the valley in multiple stages. I felt it’s same height as Jog falls. After glancing the full view, we decided to go top of the waterfall. It’s all downhill trek to reach the stream. Next 45 minutes to trek along the stream to reach a point where the stream plunges down to the deep valley.
Thanks to Arun, Narayan and Elvis for making this trek a memorable one…
